Why breastfeed? 8 good reasons that will surprise you
Breast milk, until today, fully covered the nutritional needs of Baby. But we meet more and more mothers who do not breastfeed their baby. However, according to the majority of pediatricians, breastfeeding would be best adapted to the needs of babies. Before the age of six months, only breast milk is suitable for the baby’s nutrition. If you give mother’s milk mix with other foods to your baby, he may have diarrhea. But after six months, you can add formula and other foods.
1) Breastfeeding is more adapted to the needs of the baby
Breast milk is made by our body so that it can have all the elements that will allow your child to grow well: vitamins, trace elements, carbohydrates, lipids – so he has all the nutritional inputs necessary for the growth of baby.
2) The magic formula of breast milk
The nutritional needs of infants vary enormously over the weeks. However, breast milk has the ability to change composition based on the baby’s needs.
3) Better digestion by the baby
Proteins from breast milk are better digested by the baby. In addition, they are also better removed by the kidneys which prevents them from unpleasant diarrhea or stomach pain.
4) Immunize the infant
Breastfeeding provides the child with anti-infection defense factors (the famous antibodies). These would allow the infant to build his own immune system, which would protect against viruses and microbes and which would expose them much less to many diseases.
5) Reduces anxiety
Beyond the nutritional aspects, breastfeeding is a real moment of intimacy between the mother and her baby and this has a positive impact on the emotional state of the child. This reduces the stress, the anxiety of the baby and warms it too!
6) Promotes his sensory awakening
Like the components of breast milk, the taste of milk also varies according to the mother’s diet. This represents a real benefit for the child, who can taste different tastes, which will allow his sensory awakening and will facilitate later the introduction of new foods in the baby’s diet.
7) Reduces the risk of food intolerances
According to statistics, a baby fed breast milk is very rarely subject to intolerance.
8) Convenient and economical
Breast milk is economical and practical! Cheap and easy to produce, we must admit that whatever their social condition, all women can give to their child!

A part ça, super article 🙂
