  1)  Fight against cancer

Today, most people are affected by cancer in one way or another. Chances are you know someone who is fighting cancer or is fighting it yourself.

If so, add ginger to your daily diet. Several studies have found it beneficial in the fight against cancers of the lung, prostate, ovary, colon, breast, skin and pancreas.

    2)  Protects against Alzheimer’s disease

Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that affects the central nervous system. It accounts for almost 60-70% of dementia cases in people over 65 years of age worldwide.

If Alzheimer’s disease is rampant in your family, or if you are worried that you may be suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, you should consider adding more ginger to your diet and daily routine.

    3)  Fight against Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

IBS is a disorder that affects many people. Some symptoms are cramps, bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation and the presence of mucus in the stool.

People who suffer from painful IBS need to know that ginger can offer some relief, because it can help relax the bowels during bowel movements.

    4)  Relieves gas

Gas can be embarrassing at the wrong time. Although there is a wide variety of gas products on the market, it is always best to try the natural way first.

Ginger tea is quite easy to make and is effective in relieving gas. Drink a cup of ginger tea before falling asleep for it to work at night while you sleep. It should act to clear your digestive system and neutralize the problem from the inside.

    5)  Helps to lose weight

Losing weight is one of the best things you can do for your overall health.

Did you know that being overweight can lead to heart attack, stroke, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes and some cancers? To help your weight loss efforts, incorporate ginger into your diet.

    6)  Suppresses appetite

Ginger can help you feel full, suppress your appetite and reduce your daily caloric intake.

A 2012 study found that people who drank a hot drink containing 2g of ginger powder after meals reduced their hunger for six hours.

    7)  Helps regulate blood sugar level

Research in Australia reveals that ginger can help control the level of glucose in the blood. This is important because these levels have a direct impact on the loss and weight gain, as well as the energy or lethargy that you feel throughout the day.

Adding ginger to your meal could help you stay focused and accomplish your task. Think of ginger as a natural alternative to energizing products.

    8)  Relieves tired muscles

When you train, your muscles are naturally tired. One way to speed up muscle recovery is to nibble the ginger root. Studies have shown that people who eat it experience a significant reduction in muscle pain.

Other effects health benefits.

  • Ginger is a popular treatment for stomach upset and nausea.
  • It ease digestion. Studies have shown that taking ginger can reduce nausea and vomiting in some pregnant women.
  • But pregnant women should pay attention to ginger. Some experts fear that this may increase the risk of miscarriage, especially in high doses. It is not considered dangerous in less than 1500 mg, but check with your doctor.
  • Moreover, it can help against nausea caused by vertigo. It also helps for painful periods. In one study, over 60% of women felt that ginger relieved pain.
