5 incredible lessons to spare your baby from diaper rash
1) Changing the baby’s diaper frequently
When your baby is crying or waking up, your first reflex should be to check his diaper. Change the baby diaper between 8 to 10 times a day or every 2 to 3 hours a day.
2) Wash the baby’s bottom carefully
After removing the baby diaper, thoroughly clean the baby’s bottom with warm water or use a baby wipe and then leave the diaper area in the open air.
3) Not too tight
Rest assured that you do not over-tighten the baby’s diaper when you put it on her. Will need some space to allow air circulation.
4) Moisturize the skin
Use a barrier cream (eg Vaseline, olive oil, “manianga”) on the baby’s bottom to protect the skin from urine and stool.
5) Time for air
Expose the baby’s bottom to the air for a while whenever you can.
